Internal Operating Procedures

Internal Operating Procedures ("IOPs") are a memorialization of the practices adopted by the clerk's office to move appellate papers through the Michigan Court of Appeals efficiently and in conformity with the Michigan Court Rules.

Because the IOPs are derived from the Michigan Court Rules and the practical processing requirements they entail in the clerk's office, the IOPs will be modified from time to time, without prior notice, to accommodate changes in the rules and the Court's evolving internal practices.

The full text of Clerk's IOPs are available in Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. If required, you may download Adobe's free Acrobat Reader.
