Welcome to the website for the Michigan Court of Appeals.

This website was established to enhance the Court's ability to provide important and timely information to the public, litigants, and attorneys. Among other things, you will find on this site links to the Court's Internal Operating Procedures, its history, its staff, directions to its various clerk's offices and courtrooms, and lists of cases that are scheduled to be submitted for final disposition within the next month. The site also includes a link to "Court Rules," which includes the Michigan Court Rules, Michigan Rules of Evidence, Lower Court Rules, Rules for the Board of Law Examiners, Michigan Code of Judicial Conduct, Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct, Rules Concerning the State Bar of Michigan, and the Michigan Uniform System of Citation.

As you explore our website, please feel free to contact us with suggestions for website enhancements. Your comments will be a significant source of new ideas on how this site can better serve the entire community as we work to implement our mandate: "To secure the just, speedy, and economical determination of every action and to avoid the consequences of error that does not affect the substantial rights of the parties." Michigan Court Rule 1.105.
